Made to Stick Assessment
April 15, 2010
People don’t remember facts.
They remember stories.
And, in an attention economy, where you only have a few seconds to get your core idea across to a potential (or existing) customer, you need to make sure your story “sticks.”
If it does, they will remember you after the conversation (in its many forms) is done.
What’s more, they are far more likely to tell their friends about…which drives new opportunities for you.
Based on the seminal work of Chip and Dan Heath* Never Stop Marketing offers a Made to Stick Assessment for your “business story.”
In this workshop, we will:
- review with your team the contextual background for WHY a “made to stick” story is so critical
- share the Heath brothers’ criteria for a “made to stick” story
- identify the facts of the story
- build multiple story lines around the facts (using our criteria as guidelines
- identify a manageable number of implementation ideas
- collaborate on how we are going to measure and value the “stickiness” for these implementation ideas
- build out our test plan.
It’s an intense day, but worth it. Here’s what Debbie Rosen CMO/SVP of Marketing at Global 360 (video) and Jennifer Troxell, VP of Marketing at Global 360 (video) said following their Assessment workshop.
