Step 6: Build The Strawman of the Plan

If there is one hallmark of Marketing 2.0, it’s learning to be comfortable with ‘perpetual beta.’

There is a ‘long tail of branding’ and we don’t need (or necessarily want) and probably cannot have everything perfect when it hits the door.

What we do need is a commitment to perfection, iteration, listening, and generating positive WOM.

That being said, when we think of our plan, we will deliberately take a continuous baby-step approach.

Once we have an understanding of our story and the assets we can leverage, we will ask part two of our questions.

  • How are we going to make sure that it is easier for them to share the story?
  • What activities will we engage in along the way to ensure that the story is supported and amplified?

Our initial answers will form the basis for the execution plan going forward.
