Exercise your Right Brain and build your network….
We are “going out in the field” to take our cues from the thought-provoking work of one of our clients, Dan Pink.
In his New York Times best-selling book, A Whole New Mind, Dan challenged all of us to recognize that business success in the 21st century would come to those of us who use our Right AND our Left Brains.
And, in his book to be released in December, Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, he investigates the nature of intrinsic motivation and suggests the key drivers of success are Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose.
The field seminar is about connecting with other passionate and driven people in a thought-provoking environment.
We will start on Friday, September 25th at 10am at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
Jeremy Epstein, the Marketing Navigator, will be there as will the CEO of JackBe, Luis Derechin.
We’ll have lunch with one of Xerox’s leading researchers and thinkers, Venkatesh Rao who blogs at RibbonFarm.com.
Then, we’ll see what the afternoon holds for us….
Bottom line…you are going to meet some exciting, interesting, and fun people, get some stimulation for your brain, and hopefully have a great time.
You can RSVP (and see who else is going) here on Facebook.
Note: admission to museum is free and you’ll buy your own lunch
