Unlinking on LinkedIn…Don’t Be Afraid To Do It

I’ll accept almost anybody’s connection request on LinkedIn or Facebook. Most of my experiences have been extremely positive.

Occasionally, though, you run into someone who just looks to connect with you and then burns that permission (as I described with Diana).

Begins to spam you.

Invites you to groups.

It’s annoying.

Well, remember the Power of Permission is in your hands.

LinkedIn, which I like and use, wasn’t so intuitive for me as to how you “De-link” from someone.

Well, I found a quick resource here (which reflects an older version of the site), but allowed me to discover that if you click on “Contacts” from your LinkedIn page, you’ll then see, in the top right section of the page a link for “Remove Connections.”

Problem solved.
