If you could write a note and then have it appear instantly on a web page for others to view, you’d have a potentially powerful marketing tool to bridge the gap between ink/paper and digital.
I don’t have my head fully around the technology yet, but after meeting michael jahn on a plane and then convincing him to come to my presentation in LA, I was introduced to the remarkable Linkwriter technology, the Livescribe pen, and the ability to “pencast” described here on his blog.
He writes a note on a special piece of paper (card, notebook, form) and the information is uploaded to the web.
Here is my “pencast” from the plane.

What’s more, it records what you are saying as you write it, so you get to hear the thoughts of the author (if you want) while you see the text get created.
He sees a LOT of potential for this in the medical field (since doctors don’t want to carry about tablet PCs, etc.), but I think there’s a whole world of possibilities out there.
