Facebook for Business…

I’m often asked, “how do you use Facebook for business?”

Well, here’s a pretty good answer.

One of the tools that we’ve used in building out the community for Johnny Bunko is the Bunko Facebook Fan Page.

It’s where we ask our “raving fans” to identify themselves and we share unique information with them and do our best to facilitate introductions among them.

Along with the Bunko Blog, it is the base from which volunteers to host “Bunko Breakfasts” appear.

Now, Facebook has given community marketers an even richer set of features to work with their community members.

Almost by accident, I saw an Update called “Sharing the right content with the right users.”

What theimagey have done is become the back-end database marketing engine for you. Outsourced and SAAS (Software-as-a-Service).

Just brilliant.

Now, when a Bunko Breakfast, for example, is planned for Minneapolis, we can quickly send a note to the right people, at the right time.

Relevant, personal…I think Godin would be proud.

This is exciting.

Full disclosure: Dan Pink the author of Johnny Bunko is my client.
