Driving Social Change at Alcatel-Lucent

September 30, 2009

One of the activities I will be doing with my newest client, Alcatel-Lucent, is leading a workshop on Building Your Global Micro Brand, particularly as it relates to effective executive communication.

In preparation for my time in New Jersey, I had a chance to sit down and chat with a “social media rockstar” by the name of Greg Lowe who is leading the charge in bringing the company forward in its use of technology to foster communication, breakdown traditional (and some inefficient) barriers, and ultimately (at least that is the goal), 3817385289_ae8c22085d_o_d[1]drive real revenue results.

Listening to Greg share some of his insights may help you “sell” or persuade others within your organization as well.

Greg is a charter member of The 2.0 Adoption Council"  where he’s trying to affect change beyond the walls of Alcatel-Lucent.

We used a cool new video interview technology called WeToku and thanks to my 4 year old son (aka “Paco” who was home sick at the time), we had some truly “authentic” moments, thus requiring a Part 1 and a Part 2.

(Apologies for some of the audio quality, there were definitely some glitches, but you get the gist. Also, I have to work on the lighting in my office. Hey, it’s perpetual beta)
