No matter how old we get, I suspect that everyone still values and appreciates meaningful compliments from people they respect.

When it comes to the world of social media and social networks, among those at the absolute top of the list of people I admire is Jeff Pulver.

Jeff is the founder of Vonage and an early-stage investor in Twitter. In fact, the FCC’s first ruling regarding IP (Internet Protocol) communications is called “the Pulver Order.”  Simply put, the guy understands the transformations under way today.

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege to get to know Jeff and present at a number of his events.

So, you can imagine how exhilarated I felt when Jeff said at Kinnernet USA:

“Jeremy Epstein knows as much about marketing through social networks as anyone out there.”

and when I followed up with him asking permission to quote him here, he wrote:

“I do believe you understand the secrets and anyone who meets you will know that too. “

Disclaimer: One never wants to appear as the kind of person who says “hey world, look how I great I am.” There’s obviously a risk in posting this type of testimonial on a website, so I hope you’ll share in my excitement instead of dismissing me as a self-promoting hack. :-)
