And Now, Some B2C ROI
July 15, 2009
Yesterday, I highlighted the B2B ROI case study of Microsoft’s partners.
Today though, we turn our attention to a quick B2C ROI example from Yes To Carrots.
For a while now, we’ve been working on connecting with the very passionate customers and creating genuine, authentic, and meaningful dialogue.
And, by all measures, we did that.
Since the company truly cares about the people who use their products, customers quickly see that the company doesn’t view them as dollar signs, but as people with strong beliefs.
And because we genuinely feel that way and had proven it time and time again in our customer interactions, we felt comfortable asking the top fans:
Do you buy more Yes To Carrots product as a result of your connection to the company?
The answers:
- A full 72% indicated that they buy more product, more often
- The increase in average purchase amount is approximately 20-25%
I can’t go into all of the details, of course, but suffice it to say, we’ve connected the dots in the Community Driven Marketing cycle. It’s not about looking at your customers as $ signs, but as relationships where they reward you with their money because you serve their needs and provide them with something they want.
BTW…You MUST Say Yes To Yes To Carrots!
By the way, if you haven’t tried Yes To Carrots products, you should. No, you must! It’s no surprise that they have so many Raving Fans. (Yes, I know they are a client, so take this with whatever grain of salt you want, but seriously I do love the stuff.)![]()
The products are organic, paraben-free, and integrate Dead Sea Minerals…just fantastic. There are different lines-each for different skin types (Yes To Carrots, Yes To Cucumbers, and Yes To Tomatoes)
You can find them at Walgreens, Target, and Drugstore.com (among other places worldwide-almost 30 countries).
Personally, I love the lip butters, shampoos, and conditioners. My wife is crazy about the body butter. My mom loves the eye gel and moisturizing lotion.
Here I am trying out the facial mask. Don’t worry, I am not giving up my day job to pursue a modeling career and I assure you, you’ll look much better than I do :-)
So, give ‘em a try and feel free to join the Carrot Lovers Facebook Group Page and/or the Fan Page, Follow Yes To Carrots on Twitter, read the Carrot World blog, and/or join the Carrot Club.
